Kildare County Council has approved a ten–year planning permission for Kill GAA’s redevelopment at Greenhills, Kill.
The €2m project includes a new two-storey gym building, an all-weather pitch with lighting, realignment of two main pitches with floodlights, a new viewing stand, and a dressing room block with public toilets and a meeting room.
Access roads, car parking, walking paths and landscaping will also be upgraded.
The permission is subject to 19 conditions covering noise, lighting hours, drainage, and waste management.
The gym must remain part of Kill GAA and cannot operate as a stand-alone commercial facility.
An appeal may be lodged with An Coimisiún Pleanála within four weeks.
