She has been without power for almost three days.
Hundreds of households across Kildare are still without power following Storm Darragh.
It could take up to a week for power to be returned to some customers.
In Kildare, Kilmeague and Allenwood are worst affected, with over 400 homes without power.
One local told Kfm that her three children with special needs have been sleeping in three layers of clothing going to bed because they have no heating.
The ESB say they've restored power to the majority of the 400,000 homes and businesses impacted nationwide, but it will take a number of days to address certain areas, due to the scale of the damage.
In a statement to Kfm this afternoon, an ESB spokesperson said: "As at 12.30pm today, there are approximately 250 customers without power across Kildare as a result of Storm Darragh. We acknowledge the disruption to family life this causes, and thank customers across the country, especially those who remain without power, for their patience as our crews work to safely restore power."
