Planning permission has been granted to the KWWSPCA for a major new facility at Shanacloon Lane, just outside Kildare Town.

The development will include two purpose-built cattery buildings - one for homing and assessing cats, the other for isolation and care - as well as a large, modern dog kennel building.

The site will also feature staff areas, 15 parking spaces including EV charging, landscaped grounds, and upgraded access.

Kfm visited the KWWSPCA in Athgarvan earlier this year to learn about the work volunteers do.
