Last-Minute Talks To Take Place Between Unions And Bord Na Móna Recycling Ahead Of Planned Strike

Thousands of households across Kildare could face disruptions to their bin collection services.

A meeting between unions and management at Bord Na Móna Recycling will take place this afternoon.

It comes ahead of a planned one day strike due to take place tomorrow.

SIPTU says the meeting will take place in Portlaoise, County Laois later, at the request of the company.

The dispute centres on Bord na Móna's decision to sell its recycling business. 

Thousands of households across Kildare could face disruptions to their bin collection services.

The company has customers in Kildare, Laois, Carlow, Limerick, Meath, Offaly, Roscommon, Tipperary, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow.
