The firm has 9 outlets in Kildare.
Lidl stores, including 9 in Co. Kildare, will be closing early this weekend as a "thank you" to its staff who worked through the pandemic.
The supermarket giant says stores will close at the earlier time of 8pm on Sunday.
The extra hour off will allow staff get ready for a "national staff recognition event" that's due to take place that night.
