Susan spoke about the incident on the Kildare Today show
A listener to the Kildare Today programme has urged people to be on the lookout after oil from her mother's oil tank appeared to be robbed in Old Kilcullen last night.
Susan, whose mother is currently in hospital after having major surgery, put €350 worth of oil in the tank yesterday but when she got up this morning, she says it was "bone dry".
She says she has a receipt from the oil company that the oil was fully dispensed into the tank, which aroused suspicions that it had to have been taken.
Speaking to Kfm, Susan says she can't fathom why someone would do such a thing.
