The counting of votes has finished for the Kildare North and Kildare South constituencies at the Punchestown Count Centre.

The official voter turnout for County Kildare was just over 50%.

Kildare North - 5 seats

Quota: 9,505

Elected: James Lawless (Fianna Fail), Aidan Farrelly (Soc Dems), Reada Cronin (Sinn Fein), Joe Neville (Fine Gael), Naoise O'Cearuil (Fianna Fail).

Kildare South - 3 seats

Quota: 10,734

Elected: Martin Heydon (Fine Gael), Shonagh Ni Raghallaigh (Sinn Fein), Mark Wall (Labour).
