A public consultation is open until February 22nd
Locals in Sallins are being urged to have their say on proposed changes around the Canal Bridge area.
A public consultation is open until February 22nd at 4pm and submissions can be made on the Kildare County Council website.
Among the proposals is to close the two slips roads on either side of the bridge, to Sherlockstown and Kerdiffstown respectively.
It's also being proposed to remove 24 car parking spaces along the banks of the canal, to make it more accessible to pedestrians and cyclists using the Greenway.
Local Fianna Fail Cllr. Carmel Kelly says it's of the utmost importance then anyone with a view on this makes a submission.
