A man and woman were arrested.
Two people have been arrested in Lucan after Gardaí uncovered a major cash withdrawal operation.
The transactions involved the use of bank cards linked to accounts in Poland and Norway.
The Garda National Economic Crime Bureau received information in relation to significant cash withdrawals from bank machines in Dublin and Cork between 11th August and 9th September 2025.
As part of the operation, Gardaí located and searched a car in Lucan yesterday.
A large amount of cash and multiple bank cards were recovered.
A man in his early 30s, and a woman in her mid 30s, were arrested.
They are both being held at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region.
A further search was carried out at a home in Cork, where Gardaí found more cash, foreign currency, false identification documents, bank cards and mobile phones.
Over 90,000 euro in cash has been seized to date.
