The incident occurred on the R445, Dublin Road.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the R445, Dublin Road, in Kildare.
The collision involving a cyclist is believed to have occurred between approximately 10:30pm on Thursday, July 9th and 12:30pm on Friday 10th July 2026 when the cyclist was discovered.
A male aged in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to Naas General Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place.
Those who were travelling in the area during this time and who may have camera footage, including dash cam or mobile phone recordings are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
