Man (30s) Dies Following Collision Involving Bus, Car And Pedestrian At Kishawanny, Carbury

The collision, involving a bus, a car and a pedestrian, happened at around 6.30am.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision on the R402 at Kishawanny, Carbury.

The collision, involving a bus, a car and a pedestrian, happened at around 6.30am.

A male pedestrian in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body remains there, and the coroner has been notified.

No other injuries have been reported.

The road is being held for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

The R402 at the Kishawanny Road junction remains closed, with local diversions in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

Anyone who was travelling in the area between 5.45am and 6.45am and has dash-cam or other footage is asked to make it available.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Leixlip Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Line, or any Garda station.

Investigations are ongoing.
