Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a fatal single–vehicle crash on the Curragh Road in Kildare town yesterday.
It happened at around 1.35pm on Wednesday 26th November 2025. The driver and sole occupant of the car, a man in his 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to Naas General Hospital, where a post-mortem will take place. The road was closed for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators but has since reopened.
Gardaí are asking anyone who was on the Curragh Road between 1pm and 2pm – especially drivers with dash-cam or other camera footage – to contact them.
