A man, accused of the sexual assault of a 10 year old girl in Saggart has told Gardai she said she was 18.
The 26-year-old appeared in court for the fifth time, where he was charged with a second offence.

This morning before his fifth court appearance, the 26-year-old was further charged with sexually assaulting the 10-year-old child at another location nearby.
The Judge was told when this charge was put to him, he replied: "I spoke to my solicitor and told him she sat beside me. You can check the CCTV.
She started talking to me. And I asked her her age.She told me she was 18. I just kissed her."
The court heard the DPP has directed trial on indictment in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court and it’s likely the book of evidence will be ready in six weeks.
The accused, who had the assistance of an Arabic interpreter, is due back in court via video link next week.
