A 40-year-old man has been arrested in Leixlip following the seizure of drugs valued at approximately €108,000.
During a search of a residential property, Gardaí uncovered what they believe to be "cannabis herb," pending confirmation through analysis.
The operation, conducted by the Kildare North Drug Unit, Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), and Revenue officials, targeted the sale and distribution of controlled substances in the northern region of the county.
The man is currently detained at a garda station in north Kildare under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
