The Judge said a doctor’s report has shown the accused appears fit to be tried and remanded him in custody to appear in court in four weeks’ time.
A court’s heard a man charged with the sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl in Saggart is fit to be tried.
The 26 year old is charged with the sexual assault of the young child at Garter Lane, Saggart on the 20th of October.
He faced his fourth court appearance this morning, where a detective sergeant said further serious offences are under consideration but DPP directions are not available at present.

Judge Alan Mitchell said he expects progress to be made at that date as the accused will be custody for two months by that stage and he noted the high profile nature of the case.
