Gardaí say they are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death of the man after an incident at a home at Foxdene Drive in Balgaddy shortly after 11pm last night.
A man has died following an incident at a home in Lucan in Dublin overnight.
Gardaí say they are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death of the man after an incident at a home at Foxdene Drive in Balgaddy shortly after 11pm last night.
A man in his 50s was injured and taken to Tallaght University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out and the scene remains preserved for a technical exam.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of Foxdene Drive between 11pm and midnight, and who observed any activity which drew their attention, to come forward.
Motorists with dash cam footage are also being asked to contact gardaí in Lucan.
