A man is due in court today, charged after the seizure of a gun in Kildare.
The shotgun was recovered during a targeted operation in the Carbury area at around 5 o'clock on Saturday evening.
The man in his 40s who was arrested was questioned at a Garda station in the county.
He is expected to appear before Naas District Court later.
