A man in his 40s is being treated in hospital for serious injuries following a single vehicle road traffic incident in Newbridge on Wednesday.

In a statement, Gardaí said the man was taken to Naas General Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are understood to be serious.
Investigations are ongoing.
"Gardaí in Newbridge are now appealing to any witnesses on Main street who observed the incident or who may have dashcam footage of the incident to please contact Newbridge Garda station on 045 440180," a spokesperson said.
