Door-to-door enquiries have been carried out and Gardai are reviewing CCTV.
Gardai have launched an investigation after a man was randomly attacked by two males on Convent Lane in Maynooth in the early hours of Saturday morning, July 12th.
The man is understood to have been "jumped" on by two males between 1.30 and 2.00am.
He was punched in the face causing him to fall to the ground.
Gardai have appealed for any witnesses or those with dashcam footage to contact their local garda station.
