Most Water Supplies Restored In Kildare South, Some Customers Still Facing Low Pressure

While most customers are back on supply, those at the end of the network may continue to experience low pressure or intermittent disruption for a number of hours.

Water has now been restored to homes and businesses in Kildare town and surrounding areas after an unplanned outage on the Newbridge trunk main yesterday evening.

Customers in the following areas were affected: Brownstown, Ballysax, Cutbush, Kildare Town, Meadow Road, Station Road, French Furze, Newbridge and surrounding areas.

Uisce Éireann said its crews completed repairs by 11 o’clock last night.

While most customers are back on supply, those at the end of the network may continue to experience low pressure or intermittent disruption for a number of hours.

Some may also notice temporary discolouration.
