In Celbridge, the Parks Department has earmarked €50,000 for the purchase of a Youth Hang Out Shelter.
Kildare County Council has unveiled plans for significant investments in several key projects across the county, totalling €513,800.
The funding, aimed at enhancing community infrastructure and services, will support initiatives in Naas, Athy, and Celbridge.
In Naas, the Parks Department has allocated €199,800 for the upgrade of paths and seating around the picturesque Naas Lakes.
Athy will see the development of a "Regeneration Hub," spearheaded by the Local Enterprise Office.
This initiative includes the purchase of a property for €264,000, which will serve as the Mid East Regional Circular Economy Centre.
In Celbridge, the Parks Department has earmarked €50,000 for the purchase of a Youth Hang Out Shelter.
Meanwhile, in Dunlavin two projects awarded funding include €144,000 for the development of a multi-use games area at Dunlavin GAA Club.
€60,800 has been allocated for the upgrade of facilities including kitchen and toilet facilities in the Imaal Hall.
