Gardaí continue Bank Holiday Road Policing Operation
946 motorists were detected for speeding offences this Bank Holiday weekend.
Gardaí are continuing their road policing operations today asking motorists to slow down and put away their mobile phones.
A driver on the M7 in Ladytown, Naas was detected driving 147km/h in a 120km/h zone.
More than 120 people were also arrested for intoxicated driving under the influence of either alcohol or drugs.
