Naas General Hospital is experiencing a very busy period with a significantly increased number of people requiring admission to the Hospital.
The Hospital is reminding members of the public to consider their care options before presenting to the Emergency Department (ED).

The hospital says if you are unwell, go to the GP or pharmacy in the first instance.
However, it says do not delay in seeking medical attention or presenting at the hospital if you suspect you are having a heart attack or stroke.
The ED Services are available on the following numbers, dial 999 or 112 in an emergency.
The hospital stresses for routine matters the public should contact their GP or out of hours by phone.
It says if you have to attend the ED in emergency situation,wear a mask, practice social distancing and be sure to tell the triage personnel if you have any signs/symptoms of Covid-19.
This morning 20 people were waiting on trolleys in the hospital's emergency department.
That's according to the INMO's Emergency Department Trolley Watch Figures.
469 people were awaiting a bed throughout the country's hospital system this morning.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected, with 41 patients awaiting beds.
