41-year-old pilot Michal Luczak, with an address at Primrose Avenue, Jigginstown, Naas is accused of possessing cocaine for sale or supply at Lough Owel, Irishtown, Co Westmeath.
54-year-old Tim Gilchrist of Mavis Bank, Newrath in Waterford is charged with the same offence.
They were remanded on continuing custody to appear in court later this month for the DPP's directions.
The men were arrested after Gardaí monitored a small aircraft as it landed at an airfield in County Longford last Thursday.
