The vehicle was pulled over and found to have been untaxed for 258 days.

Proceedings have commenced against a motorist following a Naas Roads Policing Unit operation.

Naas RPU was conducting a speeding operation on the Sallins by-pass when a vehicle was detected at 11e5kp/h in an 80kp/h zone.

The vehicle was pulled over and found to have been untaxed for 258 days.

The driver was not insured.

The vehicle has been seized and proceedings are underway.
