Cllr. Bill Clear aims to return 50% of the properties to the market
There are 148 vacant properties in Naas, that’s according to a new survey carried out by Naas Tidy Towns.
70 of those vacant properties are private homes.
26 are council owned homes - in Sallins and Naas, while 52 of the premises are classified as vacant private commercial buildings.
8 derelict sites were also identified.
Social Democrats councillor in the Naas Municipal District, Bill Clear said the aim of the survey is to find out how many, who owns the properties & why they are derelict.
Cllr. Clear’s aim is for 50% of the vacant properties in the area, to be returned to the market.
