She appeared on Tuesday's Prime Time.
Megan Byrne, Naas resident, appeared on RTE's Prime Time with her father to discuss the "out of control" housing market.
She discussed the comparison between Generation Z and Millennials, and the different experiences of getting on the property ladder.
"The inter generational gap is so important.
"I find a lot of people are ignorant to how difficult it is out there and the housing market.
"It's really important to raise that, there is a knowledge gap between some people who already own a home," she said.
The average rent in this country is €1500 a month and the minimum wage is €1700 a month.
Megan said her and her partner are putting off important milestones in order to save for a house.
"Rents are out of control, and there's no regulation.
"I wouldn't mind renting at all, but it has been pushed out of my hands," she insisted.
