Almost 5,800 new cars were registered in the county in 2025.
That’s up just over 7 per cent on the previous year.
More than 1,400 new electric vehicles were registered in Kildare - a rise of almost 40 per cent compared to 2024.
The figures cover registrations from January to December 2025.
