New car registrations in Kildare have shown a positive trend for the first half of 2024.
According to recent data, Kildare recorded 4,623 new car registrations between January and July 2024, a 5.24% increase from the 4,393 units registered in the same period in 2023.
However, the data also reveals a different trend for electric car registrations, where Kildare saw a 20.98% decrease, from 1,044 units in 2023 to 825 units in 2024.
Despite this decline, Kildare's share of the electric vehicle market slightly increased from 5.65% to 5.94%.
