A new draft transport plan for the GDA, including Co. Kildare, is to be launched this morning.
The Greater Dublin Area Transport Strategy will cover up to 2042 and is expected to include the route for the DART underground and feasibility studies for the Metro.
It will set out how the National Transport Authority will provide a sustainable, accessible and effective transport system for the capital.
