The issue was raised by Fine Gael Cllr Mark Stafford
The council have been asked to consider the opening of a new entrance to the Hill of Allen carpark.
The issue was raised by Kildare- Newbridge Cllr Mark Stafford who stated that such a move would achieve sufficient sightlines for the car park to be used safely.
However the Municipal District Office have said this has been examined on several occasions.
It indicated that without the purchase or donation of lands, it is not possible to provide safe access to the existing car park.
