Locals will have to provide their driver number when renewing their motor insurance from the end of the month.
If they don't include all named drivers' numbers on their policy, they won't legally be able to get insured.

The Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Ireland has is warning it will be an offence for the provider or broker if it isn't supplied.
