New School Year Made Easier: 212,000 Junior Cycle Students, Including Those in Kildare, Benefit from Expanded Book Scheme

The initiative will save Kildare families money and time, with schools now fully equipped to distribute all essential materials before the school year starts.

The free school book programme has been expanded to cover 212,000 junior cycle students across approximately 670 schools across Ireland, including Kildare.

Now, 775,000 students across secondary, primary, and special education schools will have access to schoolbooks, notebooks, and, where possible, other classroom resources, all fully funded.
