The temporary relocation will allow works to commence on the new library building at the original site
Kildare County Council's Library Service has announced that Newbridge Library has reopened at its temporary location in Liffey Lodge.
The temporary relocation will allow works to commence on the new library building at the original site, ensuring improved facilities for the community in the years ahead.
Most services remain available at the temporary location, including access to public computers, printing and photocopying, and lending collections of books, DVDs and games.
The council has said that due to the building’s smaller size, there are no dedicated study spaces at present.
The opening hours are as follows:
- Monday - 10.00am - 5.00pm
- Tuesday - 10.00am - 5.00pm
- Wednesday - 10.00am - 5.00pm
- Thursday - 10.00am - 8.00pm
- Friday - 10.00am - 5.00pm
- Saturday -10.00am - 5.00pm
The library will be closed on Sundays.
