Cllr. Angela Feeney wanted public bins in Straffan village to be included in the weekly Council bin collection.
Kildare County Council has said that there is currently no capacity in the current bin collection route to add any more bins.
This follows a motion brought forward to the recent Clane-Maynooth MD meeting by Labour Councillor Angela Feeney.
Cllr. Feeney called on the Council to include the public bins in Straffan Village and School as part of its weekly bin collection.
Furthermore, KCC said there is no budget in 2023 to expand the collection service.
