KCC said a pedestrian crossing is already currently operational
Kildare County Council has said it does not intend on appointing a school warden at St Patrick's Primary School on the Hazelhatch Road in Celbridge.
In response to a motion raised by Cllr. Ide Cussen at a recent meeting, the Council says a pedestrian controlled crossing is currently operational on the road, adjacent to the entrance to Celbridge GAA.
The Council is satisfied that this facility provides a safe crossing point for pedestrians, who wish to cross the road.
