A Taxi driver has told KFM.
A Taxi driver working in Celbridge has questioned how people are meant to turn to electric cars when there are so few charging points in the county.
"In Celbridge there's only two charging points in the town, one at Tesco and one at the railway station, that's it.
"The Government are trying to get us to get these electric cars, when there are no charging points," he said.
Greensall has an electric car, but he said it can be tricky because he always has to plan his journey around the charging ports available to him.
"Manufacturers should be investing in charge points.
"You have to plan if you are going on a long run.
"The charge points on the motorways are not too bad, but there are not enough of them," he insisted.
