Over 1,200 Planning Decisions Issued Last Year In Kildare - Report

207 unauthorised development applications were received and reviewed

Some 1,548 planning applications were issued to Kildare County Council last year, according to its annual report for 2022.

1216 planning decisions were issued over the course of year in Kildare.

162 commercial pre - planning meetings and 148 one - off housing pre- planning meeting took place last year.

Some 207 unauthorised development applications were received and reviewed, according to the report.

Over €580,000 in heritage funding was allocated, 15 grants/ funding under the built heritage investment fund.

26 heritage projects were undertaken and two grants funding awarded under the Heritage Structural Funds Schemes.

Fine Gael Cllr Joe Neville, and outgoing Leas- Cathaoirleach of Kildare, joined Eoin Beatty on Friday's Kildare Today to discuss the report;
