The incident occurred on the R407 in the Mainham area
Gardaí have appealed for information after a cyclist was knocked off their bike by a car in Clane last weekend.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:10pm on Sunday 1 November on the R407 in the Mainham area.
The car was said to be driving in the same direction as the cyclist when the road traffic incident took place.
The vehicle then collided with the cyclist and "failed to stop", according to Naas Garda Ann Marie Reilly on Kildare Today.
Gardaí are appealing to motorists who may have been travelling in the area between Clane and Kilcock at the time.
Additionally, anyone with information or dash cam footage is asked to contact Clane or Leixlip Gardaí.
