Gardaí have revealed that there were 222 fines for e-scooter offences issued in the Kildare-Carlow area since May 2024.

The highest figures seen were for the Dublin Metropolitan Region South Central, with 306 fines issued.
The figures came as a result of a parliamentary question from Sinn Féin TD Mark Ward to Justice Minister Jim O Callaghan earlier this month.
