The HSE is urging over 65s and children to get the flu vaccine ahead of this winter amidst what they call a 'disappointingly low' uptake.
The rollout of free flu and Covid-19 vaccines has begun, but HSE figures show that Kildare in particular is quite low on the uptake.
Speaking on this morning's Kildare Today, GP from Sallins Medical Centre Dr. David McConaghy discussed the low uptake in Kildare, and the dangers of not getting the flu vaccine, especially for the elderly community.
