More than 75 community projects in Kildare have been approved for funding under the Local Enhancement Programme 2025, as part of a national initiative to support local organisations.
The funding was announced by the Department of Rural and Community Development, with over 5,000 projects approved across the country.

The project in Kildare that received the highest amount of funding is The Ballymore Eustace Community Trust (AKA The Bandhall), which was awarded €11,000.
The scheme aims to provide financial support to local clubs, organisations, and community groups.
