Overnight works take place in Athy town centre tonight.
Kildare County Council says they will in place on Offaly Street, from 7pm this evening, until 6am on Friday morning.
They are to facilitate gas connections and reinstatement.
KCC says "Diversions will be in place via Church road so short delays can be expected."
