The research focused on the Pfizer vaccine.
A new study has found that an 8 week gap between Covid 19 vaccine doses generates a more robust immune response to the Delta variant than a four week gap.
The research, the Pitch study, was conducted by Oxford University, among several hundred NHS staff to whom the Pfizer vaccine had been administered.
Prof. Susanna Dunachie is NIHR Global Research Professor, T-cell immunologist, at Oxford University Researching COVID-19, Tropical Medicine, Melioidosis & AMR
