Staff Brigid, Michelle and Gill said running the business has been hard but they "would not change it".
Brigid’s Cake Room in Clane is set to close its doors after five years in business.
The popular cake accessories shop became well known for its patented cake tin liners and baking kits, including The Ganaching Kit and Chocolate Biscuit Liner.
Staff members Brigid, Michelle and Gill say running the business has been challenging - but that they “wouldn’t change it.”
They said people “loved coming down” and that they had “such a laugh” over the years.
Details of the closure are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Separately, a much-loved cafe in Kildare Town is set to close its doors next month.
Strong’s Café and Bistro will shut on November 16th, after nearly seven years in operation.
Owner, Alex Armstrong, said the decision was “not easy” but that the café is “just not sustainable" anymore.
“The reality here is that the government are doing nothing to help small businesses. I'm out of a job and have lost my business and also all my staff are out of jobs," Armstrong said.
Strong’s first opened in November 2018, when Ms Armstrong was just 25 years old.
