Petrol Bomb Thrown Into Newbridge Home As Family Escapes Blaze

The family managed to escape and contain the fire before emergency services arrived.

A family living in Rosconnell in the centre of Newbridge town had a lucky escape last week after a petrol bomb was thrown through their sitting room window at around 10.50pm last Thursday.

The family managed to escape and contain the fire before emergency services arrived.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
