The school is located between Kilcock and Enfield
The Board of Management at Newtown Primary School between Kilcock and Enfield has applied for planning permission to build an extension onto the existing school building.
According to documents lodged with Kildare County Council, the extension would be single storey at the rear of the building.
It would consist of 2 Special Education Classroom Units, a Special Education training room and a plant room.
Planning permission for an external soft play area is also being sought.
