Plans for a €100 million euro solar farm In the townland of Dunnstown, near Two Mile House, have been refused by Kildare County Council.
The solar farm would have spanned 318 acres across 30 fields of agricultural land that is currently used for 'pastoral farming'.

Over 50 objections were lodged by locals, including Kildare South TD Seán O Fearghaíl.
