Plans Lodged For 44 New Homes On The Dublin Road In Celbridge

It's proposed for the site of the former Retronix Semiconductor factory

Plans have been lodged with Kildare County Council for 44 new homes on the Dublin Road in Celbridge.

The planning application which was made by Blackrock Contractors Limited also proposed to demolish the vacant Retronix Semiconductor factory at this location.

There will also be works to link in to the adjoining Ballyoulster SHD site under consideration by An Bord Pleanála, including the continuation of the footpath and cycle lane proposed along the boundary of the subject site on the Dublin Road, and the provision of pedestrian and cyclist connections.

A decision is due in the coming months.
