There is currently a power outage in Athy, affecting 1,962 customers.
The outage has been caused by a high-loaded truck, which pulled down overhead wires at Athy train station.

Kfm has been told that both gardaí and the fire brigade are at the scene.
Roads on both sides are closed, but the train station remains accessible.
It is understand the estimated restoration time is at 2.15pm today.
